Chandigarh : 6th April 2023 (22G TV) With Dhruv Tara – Samay Sadi Se Pare, Sony SAB has brought a unique romantic tale between Dhruv (Ishaan Dhawan) and Tarapriya (Riya Sharma), who come from different time periods. Breaking the laws of time, Tara a 17th century princess travels to 2023 from her kingdom Vallabhgad through a time portal called Navrangvan in a desperate attempt to find a cure for her brother, whose health is critical to the future of their land. In 2023, she met Dhruv, a skilled neurosurgeon who will play an important role in saving her brother’s life. This one-of-a-kind show has grabbed the audience’s attention with its captivating storyline, beautiful background score, and endearing romantic moments between Dhruv and Tara, which indeed feels like a breath of fresh air.
In the upcoming episodes, the viewers are about to witness Dhruv and Tara getting married to each other. Though, in an exciting turn of events, Dhruv and Tara very smartly dodge the marriage and run away. However, their destiny plays a different game, and they get caught up by Dhruv’s mother Susheela (Neelima Singh). Her life comes to a standstill as she watches Dhruv and Tara in their wedding outfits. She turns furious and she cannot digest that her son disobeyed her and married Tara. Susheela announces in front of the entire family that Dhruv and Tara can’t live with them anymore and throws them out of the house.
Will Susheela come to know the truth behind Dhruv and Tara’s wedding? Or will this new trouble take Tara further away from her ultimate plan?
Neelima Singh, who plays the character of Susheela Saxena, said, “For my character Susheela, it’s tough to believe that her beloved son Dhruv ended up getting married to a girl who she absolutely dislikes. Moreover, she always feared that Tara would take Dhruv away from her. Susheela’s fears seem to come true, and in anger, she throws Dhruv and Tara out of the house. Portraying a character like Susheela gives me a new opportunity each day, as it’s a layered character, whose fears can neither be questioned nor ignored. This week will bring an interesting shift in Dhruv and Tara’s relationship and their relationship with Susheela will hit a roadblock.”
Ishaan Dhawan, who portrays the character of Dhruv, said, “My character Dhruv is undergoing a complex wave of emotions. On one end, he is happy that he was able to save Tara from trouble. However, it has ended up causing massive damage to his and Susheela’s relationship. It will be intriguing to witness how the story unfolds and how the characters deal with the consequences of their actions. How will Dhruv finally mend his relationship with Susheela, or whether new troubles await the Saxena family?
